BEIJING, May 20 (Xinhua) — A Chinese culture and arts gallery project was launched last Saturday in the Belt and Road (Chongqing) Intelligent Pavilion situated in southwest China’s Chongqing municipality.
More than 100 pieces of Chinese calligraphy works and paintings were exhibited in the pavilion, showcasing the diversified styles, meticulous brushwork, and the liberal use of ink and color of Chinese arts.
Attending the launch ceremony were local government officials, folk artists, collectors and arts enthusiasts, who shared their insights into cultural innovation and the promotion of Chinese culture at a symposium.
The Belt and Road (Chongqing) Intelligent Pavilion is an international service platform that mainly displays the characteristic products from countries and regions involving in the Belt and Road (B&R) Initiative and boosts cultural exchanges.
While promoting the going global of Chinese culture and arts, the pavilion will introduce more outstanding artistic works to facilitate the cultural exchange and cooperation between B&R countries and regions.
