Tambi\u00e9n que el producto est\u00e9 hecho exclusivamente con algas del Mar del Norte. \u00abQueremos aprovechar todo el tejido y no aislar solo un componente\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Britta Grote, cient\u00edfica del Instituto Alfred Wegener para la investigaci\u00f3n polar y mar\u00edtima con sede en Bremerhaven.<\/p>\n<p>El uso de envases en la gastronom\u00eda se ha disparado considerablemente pasando de 110.000 toneladas en el a\u00f1o 2000 a 256.000 toneladas en el a\u00f1o 2015, seg\u00fan indica la Oficina Federal del Medio Ambiente. Tambi\u00e9n la cadena de comida r\u00e1pida Nordsee registra una demanda cada vez mayor de recipientes. En las cerca de 400 sucursales, la empresa apuesta exclusivamente por cajas degradables de forma ecol\u00f3gica as\u00ed como por materiales reciclables.<\/p>\n<p>La organizaci\u00f3n alemana a favor del medio ambiente BUND no cree que los envases biodegradables sean la soluci\u00f3n ideal en la lucha contra la avalancha de envases. \u00abMe temo que el consumidor pensar\u00e1 que no pasa nada si tira la caja a un arbusto\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Nadja Ziebarth, experta de BUND en protecci\u00f3n marina, a la agencia dpa.<\/p>\n<p>Otro problema a considerar es que las m\u00e1quinas clasificadoras de la gesti\u00f3n de residuos separan los envases de las basuras biol\u00f3gicas aunque sean biodegradables. \u00abAl final, los envases se acaban incinerando\u00bb, dice.
