(EUROPA PRESS) La alcaldesa de Avil\u00e9s, Pilar Varela, ha asegurado este viernes que el consistorio fue \u00abenga\u00f1ado\u00bb en la trama de las facturas de la inauguraci\u00f3n del Centro Niemeyer en 2010. En declaraciones a los periodistas ha afirmado que \u00abser enga\u00f1ado no puede ser un delito\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Se ha mostrado \u00abmuy sorprendida y tambi\u00e9n muy contrariada\u00bb tras conocer el auto en que se apunta a un delito de malversaci\u00f3n de fondos p\u00fablicos. Junto a la suya se mantiene la imputaci\u00f3n para tres trabajadores de su confianza en el ayuntamiento y el equipo que se encarg\u00f3 de la gesti\u00f3n del Centro Niemeyer hasta 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Varela ha asegurado que se trata \u00abde una nueva diligencia y yo sigo estando tranquila\u00bb. Se ha mostrado convencida de que \u00abla verdad tiene que imponerse por encima de todo\u00bb y asegura estar estudiando el recurso junto a su abogado.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abDespu\u00e9s de un a\u00f1o de instrucci\u00f3n creo que hay elementos m\u00e1s que suficientes para tener claro que ninguna persona del ayuntamiento ha participado en la refacturaci\u00f3n de las facturas que han hecho los proveedores.
