On Saturday 17 June 2023, \u00c1ngel Garc\u00eda, has been sworn in as the new mayor of the Council of Carre\u00f1o<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, the candidate of Convocatoria por Carre\u00f1o has taken office in a plenary session that will become part of the recent history of Carre\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

With the investiture of \u00c1ngel Garc\u00eda as the new mayor of our Council, 24 years of socialist government come to an end, from the 3rd of July 1999 until the 13th of June 2015, \u00c1ngel Riego<\/strong>, and from the 16th of June of the same year until today Amelia Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> were at the head of the municipal corporation.<\/p>\n

Convocatoria por Carre\u00f1o opens a new stage in which it will govern in minority, with 7 councillors<\/strong>, the rest of the political formations represented in the City Council will have 5 councillors from the PSOE, 4 from the Partido Popular and 1 from VOX.<\/p>\n
