Foto: Ulrich Perrey\/dpa<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el jefe de Siemens, Roland Busch, se trata de un \u00abproyecto para la digitalizaci\u00f3n del ferrocarril en Alemania, Europa y el mundo entero\u00bb. Su hom\u00f3logo en Deutsche Bahn, Richard Lutz, anunci\u00f3 que la tecnolog\u00eda se extender\u00e1 gradualmente a toda la red de trenes de la ciudad hanse\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>Pese a que los ferrocarriles aut\u00f3nomos existen desde hace tiempo, se trata de la primera vez que operan a trav\u00e9s de un sistema abierto, lo que los hace compatibles con cualquier ferrocarril que cumpla con los est\u00e1ndares tecnol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa nueva tecnolog\u00eda ya est\u00e1 aprobada y, como tiene interfaces abiertas, todos los operadores del mundo pueden utilizarla inmediatamente para todo tipo de trenes\u00bb, explic\u00f3 Busch.<\/p>\n<p>El tramo inaugurado hoy (la l\u00ednea S21) est\u00e1 especialmente bien equipado para soportar la carga tecnol\u00f3gica necesaria. De esta manera, los trenes pueden arrancar, frenar, acelerar y detenerse por s\u00ed solos. Est\u00e1 previsto que los trenes automatizados entren en servicio regular a partir de diciembre.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto \u00abDigital S-Bahn Hamburg\u00bb est\u00e1 financiado con unos 60 millones de euros (69 millones de d\u00f3lares) a partes iguales por la ciudad-Estado de Hamburgo, Deutsche Bahn y Siemens.<\/p>\n<p>A su vez, forma parte del proyecto \u00abDigital Rail Germany\u00bb, con el que Deutsche Bahn quiere digitalizar su infraestructura para la pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada. Se trata, dijo Busch, de una necesidad urgente, porque en muchos lugares el ferrocarril sigue teniendo \u00abtecnolog\u00eda antigua\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El jefe de DB, Lutz, describi\u00f3 la digitalizaci\u00f3n en los ferrocarriles como la \u00abclave del cambio de la movilidad\u00bb, ya que permite aumentar la capacidad hasta un 30 por ciento sin necesidad de construir v\u00edas adicionales debido a que los trenes pueden circular a intervalos m\u00e1s cortos.<\/p>\n<p>Busch a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que tambi\u00e9n se podr\u00eda ahorrar hasta un 30 por ciento de energ\u00eda y mejorar la puntualidad de los trenes. \u00abEl tren metropolitano (&#8216;S-Bahn&#8217;) digital es una novedad mundial\u00bb, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hamburgo, 11 oct (dpa) &#8211; La empresa estatal de ferrocarriles alemanes Deutsche Bahn (DB) y el conglomerado tecnol\u00f3gico Siemens inauguraron hoy en Hamburgo el primer tren metropolitano totalmente automatizado y pilotado de manera digital.
